Well, it's been dead around here for a while. I guess it just isn't going to catch on. Sucks because there was a ton of money and time invested in this place. Has all the potential to be the most resourceful inspection website around, but if it isn't used then what's the point? Anyways, thanks to all that have contributed so much. The lights will be off soon....Matt

this shouldn't suprise anyone. You need to remembertheir roots are still the old MQS. IE Must Quit Soon. They gaveme alot of good work in the early to mid nineties, but the way they treated their full timers i can't believe anyone would continue working for them.

There has been management runs there that were great and others that were idiots, so it depends on what timeframe.

Inspector Hell - ain't that where you have a client that doesn't know what he wants, but is positive that he doesn't want to do it any of the ways that you are suggesting.

I have been with Team since 2000. As with any company, you will be treated as bad as you let them treat you.

I never expect any of these companies to pay for my TWIC. I paid for my own, and just got it yesterday. The Team office out of Indiana digusted me with thier antics. I will never work there again.

The ONLY folks I've ever worked for full time is ProInspect. They work primarily Inspectors, and treat folks as such.
Shit changes, but some stuff just remains the same. Tech's get browbeaten, and companies that work primarily Techs browbeat their employees. This is not always true, but USUALLY is. It changes for a time, then changes back.

Possibly the worst thing an inspector can do is to Bullshit the client about the condition of his equipment. The second worst thing is to fail to completely inspect the equipment, and indicate, even through the sin of omission that he has completed the inspection. Anything else can be forgiven.

It's the folks that run those NDE companies fault for treating guys like crap. I don't care if you are a tech or the most Sr inspector, people should be treated with respect. On the other hand if you act like an idiot, your employer will treat you like one. But if you act like a respectable man, you should be treated like one regardless of your title.

Take a look at the post I made on Lokring fittings. I have attached some pictures and a copy to the companies website. I don't know how new they are but tonight is the first time I have ever seen one. Really neat stuff to me but scary as hell if your a welder!

Things have been slow here lately. Thinking about having a board for investing (visible only to members). I've met quite a few stock savy inspectors recently and they were more than willing to share their knowledge. What do you think?
