Well, it's been dead around here for a while. I guess it just isn't going to catch on. Sucks because there was a ton of money and time invested in this place. Has all the potential to be the most resourceful inspection website around, but if it isn't used then what's the point? Anyways, thanks to all that have contributed so much. The lights will be off soon....Matt

T/A work has officially kicked off at Huntsman Chemical in Port Neches,TX.
my trailer looks so much better when it get paid to use it. This
great job is scheduled between 7 and 9 weeks of 7-12's with good
Per Diem. I will post my personel opinion of the job and company since this is my cherry trip for both inspection company and or the plant.

That's awesome. Sounds like a good hitch. Sweet Meat Joe Myles said he needs a loan. Well work is finally starting to pickup in the Louisiana area. Matt did like you and Chris suggested and just called and emailed every company that I could think of and finally the jobs are starting to trickle in. Landed a gig with Pro-Inspect in the Baton Rouge area. No per diem, but pay makes up for it. Wish it was longer than 4 weeks. It's a start.

That's great to hear you landed a gig. I'll give you se more good advice. Watch that Joe Myles close! J/J Do me a favor and tell him I said hello. I will also give him a loan he just has to send me his Social, phone number, home address, Bank account and routing numbers. Checks in the mail.

Good deal, I'll tell him when I go back to Sulphur. Just gave Acuren my 2 wks notice. No turning back now. Man I thought it was going to be one of those yrs. had a gig lined up with a company in Corpus Christi, but I was let go before the job even took off. There was a reduction of man power for the turnaround. I guess I was number 1 on the sh_ _ list. When that happened, I wasn't sure I wanted to give up the guantee 40hrs. Maybe I'll catch on the road.

Just got a call from a friend working for Tech Corr, they have a turnaround in the Pasadena area starting in March. I was told that it was going to last for 8 wks. They are looking for 9 API 510 and 570 inspectors. The pay is competitive, but they are not offering per diem. If anybody living in the area is interested contact Aaron Lund.

Looks like I'm not the only one to notice that things are really picking up. I'm in the New orleans area and just finished up a small T/A at Dow ST. Charles. Next stop is Murhpy Oil and then Valero in Norco after. I couldnt be happier. I think pay increases and better per diem will start again soon since there is so much work starting to come in. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Take a look at the post I made on Lokring fittings. I have attached some pictures and a copy to the companies website. I don't know how new they are but tonight is the first time I have ever seen one. Really neat stuff to me but scary as hell if your a welder!

Things have been slow here lately. Thinking about having a board for investing (visible only to members). I've met quite a few stock savy inspectors recently and they were more than willing to share their knowledge. What do you think?

I'm looking for an API 653 with 5 years of experience for the Salt Lake area. Let me know if anyone is interested. This is immediate work.
